ニューヨーク、Pratt Instituteを中退後、1995年に「薔薇族」で漫画家デビュー。イラストレーターとしても活動している。代表作は、「薔薇族」「Badi」でそれぞれ長期連載された「ミルク」「下宿のお兄さん」など。韓国で単行本化された「キミのセナカ」は、台湾、フランスに続き日本でもサウザンブックスから出版され、各国合作の映画化も決定している。
現在「玄太はオレが好き」をWebマガジン「newTOKYO」に連載中。また、バンド「cali≠gari」の桜井青氏とサークル「くろとあお」としても活動している。

After leaving at Pratt Institute in New York, he made his debut as a manga artist in 1995 in the iconic Japanese gay magazine Barazoku. Since then, he has been active as both a manga artist and illustrator.
His notable works include the long-running series Milk and Geshuku no Oniisan, serialized in Barazoku and Badi respectively.
Kimi no Senaka, originally published in Korea, has since been released in Taiwan and France, and most recently in Japan by Thousand Books.
A collaborative international film adaptation is currently in development.
He is currently publishing the web series Genta Is in Love with Me on newTOKYO.
In addition to his solo work, he collaborates with Ao Sakurai of the band cali≠gari as part of the creative due to Kuro to Ao.
