第10弾の「日本男児」マンガは、二度目の登場となる「市川和秀」氏。
前回と同じ時代設定だが、一新された登場人物は前回以上に力強く躍動しており、記念すべき第10号にふさわしい作品となった。
市川氏は90年代からゲイ漫画を描き始め、これまで「Badi」や「G-men」などへの掲載、同人誌制作など多岐にわたって活躍をしてきた。
代表作に「ナツノカッパ」、「髭ヅラ体育教師は俺の嫁さんシリーズ」など。
